Goal: To improve the contribution of Research and Development in policy formulation, pollution reduction/control and the rehabilitation of ecosystems
- Enhancement of technical capability in the analysis of various media for contaminants
- Testing of non-traditional assessment and monitoring procedures
- Upgrading of laboratory equipment and space
- Conduct of laboratory experiments and bench-scale studies on pollution control
- Provision of laboratory services to PAB, ROs, and the public and private sector
- Laboratory recognition scheme implementation
- Development of R&D; Framework Plan for the Brown Sector
