Goal: To ensure that environmental considerations are incorporated in all phases of project development through the efficient , transparent and effective use of the EIA principles
- Streamlining of the EIS System to improve review and evaluation of EIS documents
- Improve the EIA monitoring system
- Ensure public involvement in the EIA process
- Strengthen linkages with NGOs, LGUs, private sector and other GOs
- Upgrade capability of EIA units
- Implementation of the Programmatic Compliance to the EIS System
